Ces nations n&rsquo;ont pas efficacement fait face \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie par hasard : elles avaient toutes en commun d&rsquo;\u00eatre dirig\u00e9es par des femmes.<\/p>\n<p>En dehors des p\u00e9riodes difficiles, les femmes dirigeantes ont tendance \u00e0 \u00eatre plus performantes que les hommes\u00a0: mettez un peu (ou beaucoup) d\u2019huile sur le feu sous la forme de la premi\u00e8re vague de la pand\u00e9mie, et l&rsquo;\u00e9cart d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 double presque, indiquant que les femmes semblent mieux diriger en temps de crise.<\/p>\n<p>Selon l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation \u00e0 360 degr\u00e9s <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2020\/12\/research-women-are-better-leaders-during-a-crisis\"><em>Extraordinary Leader<\/em> du <em>Harvard Business Review<\/em><\/a>, les femmes sont plus performantes que les hommes \u00e0 presque tous les niveaux de leadership, y compris les comp\u00e9tences cl\u00e9s qui sont cruciales en temps de crise : la capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;apprendre et d&rsquo;agir rapidement, la prise d&rsquo;initiative, l&rsquo;esprit de d\u00e9cision et le pouvoir d&rsquo;inspirer les autres \u00e0 induire le changement. Il n&rsquo;est pas surprenant que les femmes leaders aient \u00e9galement obtenu des scores plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;honn\u00eatet\u00e9, de communication, de collaboration, d&#8217;empathie et d&rsquo;\u00e9tablissement de relations en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral &#8211; des ingr\u00e9dients inestimables de la recette qui permet de diriger en toute confiance une \u00e9quipe autonome et confiante dans des p\u00e9riodes tumultueuses. En outre, il semble que l&rsquo;absence de testost\u00e9rone soit un atout pour le leadership f\u00e9minin en p\u00e9riode de stress, comme le montrent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/health-33363948\">les \u00e9tudes liant cette hormone aux comportements \u00e0 risque<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ces donn\u00e9es sont impressionnantes, alors pourquoi les femmes ne sont-elles pas plus nombreuses \u00e0 occuper des postes de direction ?<\/p>\n<p>Il semble que cela soit d\u00fb \u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence de motivation entre les sexes. Selon Avivah Wittenberg-Cox, PDG de 20-first, un cabinet mondial de conseil sur la parit\u00e9, c&rsquo;est parce que les hommes se battent pour le pouvoir, et les femmes, pour l&rsquo;objectif &#8211; une autre raison pour laquelle les femmes ont mieux dirig\u00e9 pendant la pand\u00e9mie et probablement d&rsquo;autres crises. Il existe bien s\u00fbr d&rsquo;autres in\u00e9galit\u00e9s entre les sexes qui s\u00e9vissent sur le march\u00e9 du travail, mais il est dans l&rsquo;ADN d&rsquo;une femme (en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral) de ne pas se battre aussi fort pour le leadership, \u00e0 moins qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y ait un sens, un but au-del\u00e0 du pouvoir. Cette diff\u00e9rence de motivation pour gravir l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du leadership peut \u00e0 elle seule expliquer l&rsquo;\u00e9cart de leadership entre les sexes.
