Raising a glass to a legendary whisky.


Gooderham & Worts were the founders of Toronto’s famous Distillery District and their original recipes happen to predate Canada itself. When Corby set out to commemorate Gooderham & Worts with a new craft whisky brand inspired by one of their original recipes, they turned to us for a packaging idea worthy of their names. Our challenge was to overcome a negative perception of the quality of Canadian whisky and target discerning, sophisticated whisky enthusiasts.

To position this 4-grain Canadian craft whisky as a top-shelf offering, we focused on Gooderham & Worts’ history as true whisky pioneers. Every design consideration – from the unique heavy-set glass bottle and the label illustration of the original Trinity Street distillery to the wooden cork with its branded seal – purposely spoke to authenticity and quality. That way we could authentically lay claim to being the makers of fine Canadian whisky since 1832.

The new packaging reflects the brand’s true value and has helped a new generation discover Gooderham & Worts. While sales figures are withheld, Gooderham & Worts whisky has seen double-digit growth year after year and is now distilled in larger quantities to meet demand.
